You know how it goes… went out with your friends, had a great time with lots of tasty beverages and when it comes down to pay for the bill there is some kind of drama.

Bad math? Someone forgot a wallet? Everyone drank too much and no one can use their calculators properly?

These situations can be a minor frustration or a serious blow up because the subject of money is a delicate one.

Or when you cover someone’s portion of an outing and they need to pay you back? It’s awkward to ask for that money!

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a platform that will take care of letting your friends know what they owe and a way they can settle up without having the awkward conversations? Well, that is exactly what Serve.com is all about.

It’s easy to sign up with an account with Serve.com and you get a $10 bonus upon registration right now. It is safe and secure and backed by American Express.

You don’t need to deal with checks and get your own card. I was shocked at how quickly mine arrived! You can access your account online or on a mobile phone. You can also transfer money in to your own bank account. Serve.com gives you many ways to easily access your money and account anytime you need it.

It is SUPER easy to transfer money between serve accounts. There is even an option to have an amount divided equally between multiple people.

I took friends out to Slater’s 50/50 which is one of my favorite places to eat. It’s gourmet burgers by design! You can pick from their signature burgers or sandwiches or build your own. They have many different meat and bun choices with over 30 toppings and a dozen cheeses.

If you are feeling intimidated by the selections you can’t go wrong with a signature burger or sandwich. Some of their new menu items include the Pittsburgh Pastrami, Burger Carbonara and the Big Daddy Melt. Deliciousness!

Hungry yet?

Add a rad selection of beer on tap with some crazy cocktails and you pretty much have my idea of perfection. They even have milkshakes like the Guiness Mint Chocolate. Double Drool.

It was easy for our group to settle up the bill. We divided the bill between the five of us and after I got home I reimbursed everyone as part of the review for Serve.com. It was really easy!

As a whole I am really happy with Serve.com and plan on using it as my primary source for digital payments. I love that they are backed by American Express. I also plan to open up sub-accounts for my daughter since I feel Serve.com can help me teach her additional values of money and how to manage funds appropriately.

I should not have read this at 10:30 at night. I want a burger!! :D I have a Serve account and love it! As soon as my son is old enough, I’m going to set up a subaccount for him, too. That is a great way to teach responsibility, I think.
