We have family in Tokyo and my Dad just returned from a visit. He spoils my kids rotten so he brought them back some rad gifts.
My son is obsessed with Ultraman so Grandpa came through with four action figures. Both of the kids love MonChiChi’s… they even have some of mine that I got in Tokyo when I was a kid. These even made me squee!
Now… my Dad loves me. I say that because sometimes I have to remind myself of that fact. Especially after he decides to get the kids what is now their favorite toy ever: The Mimicry Pet Hamster. You talk to it and it mimics you in a hampster voice. It is cute that’s for sure and reminds me of all those silly mimicing apps.
Oh by the way… I hate toys that make noise!
I love imaginative toys that don’t annoy the crap out of me. I don’t mind if my kids are loud but I mind if their toys are. When he put the batteries in it I gave him the death stare of doom… my Dad just laughed at me. So of course I decided he really does hate me or this could be revenge from that Just Dance video I took of him playing on the Wii. Now we have a rule with Squeeky Mc Squeekers and the kids have to play with it in their room and the roars of laughter when they get him to say, “fart! Poop! Booty nugget!” are well worth it.
We decided to take a video of the kids new toy… it is a short clip but believe me you will want to watch it for the end where my son decided to blurt out his favorite word.

I love that hamster! I must have one! But I watched the video twice…and I can’t make out what the word is. How am I supposed to get through the rest of my life not knowing?
